Rock that was excavated from underneath the workshop slab was used to build retaining walls in front of the house and behind the house.  There was not enough rock so we had a truckload delivered.  Another unplanned expense that increased the budget blowout.  By now the budget is getting seriously blown.
Ray built all the retaining walls and steps.  He did a real nice job, better than I could do it.
Here is the start of the retaining wall out the back of the house.  The pergola will be covered later.
Back retaining wall now finished and landscaped.
Front lawn planted.
Front steps to the main entrance.
Judith planted some rose bushes and goodness me, how fast the grass has grown.
Major milestone.  Installation of the letterbox.  It is now really starting to look like the dream.
