OM Guitar #143 $3400 (ex transport) New guitar made from Red Spruce and Tasmanian Oak. Latest configuration. 14frets to the body, 25.4in scale length, nitro finish on the body, varnish on the neck. Bolt on neck and Schertler tuning machines. McIntyre feather pickup installed. Comes with a case. Woods are - Red Spruce (Adirondak) top, Tasmanian Oak back and sides, Queensland Maple neck, Indian Rosewood bindings, Huon Pine and figured Eucalyptus mannifera rosette, Ebony fingerboard (16in radius), tuning knobs, and headstock overlay, Brazilian Rosewood bridge. Sound: Wow, this is an exceptional guitar. Easily the best I have made to date, and probably the best sounding and most responsive small bodied guitar I have played in my life. Warm, sweet, clear with a big solid bottom end, and the Red Spruce gives it huge headroom. Excellent for fingerpicking or flat picking. With a pick will go very loud. I love it! I am not a guitar player, but this will give you some idea of what it sounds like. This was recorded when the guitar was only 1 week old, so has a lot of improvement to come.
