This mandolin is a Custom model mandolin with Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle back and sides, one of my favourite wood combinations. Beautiful looking and sounding mandolin, one the very best. The back is actually a one piece Tiger Myrtle back, extremely rare nowadays.
Woods are - Red
Spruce top, Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle back and sides, Myrtle
neck, Indian Rosewood bindings, Indian Ebony fingerboard (12in
radius, 30mm wide at the nut), 13 & 7/8 inch scale length,
Schaller GrandTune matte gold tuners
with Ebony knobs and ebony adjustable Brekke bridge.
Pickguard is Tasmanian Fiddleback Blackwood. Varnish
finish. Price includes a case.
